Recurring themes
There are a few reoccurring themes that Michael loves to talk about. It’s obvious where his interests lie; at two years old, he has no filter and thus reveals his inner “Michael-man” (a nickname we call him). Off the top of my head, these are a few of his interests:
Trains Enough said! This kids LOVES trains. Everywhere we go, everything we do somehow involves trains. He remembers how to get to the model train museum we went to once while visiting my parent’s house over Thanksgiving. He says his bunk-bed ladder is a train track. Any pattern on a rug or floor and elevated surface is a train track. He announces …


































According to two new research studies, listening to what your children have to say is just as important as talking to them. This interaction is key to their language development.
