A good pre-cursor to this post is a blog I wrote a while ago titled “Sleep Patterns“, about Saioa’s sleeping habits at night. She was conditioned to waking up three times a night and had to be nursed back to sleep. I decided I had to cut down her nightly feedings to just one a night. Sweet dreams lovey love!
Not too long after I announced to the world that my sweet baby was sleeping through the night, she started not sleeping through the night. It was so nice of her to wait till after I boasted to my group of friends that “Yes, my baby sleeps through the night. Oh, yours doesn’t? Awww, poor you. I know, I’m so lucky. Yes, she’s such a good baby.”
She must’ve heard those conversations and was like “Oh no Mother, remember when you made me cry in my bassinet for a whole half a minute? Well take this!”

It’s been a full week since I’ve gone all Nazi method on poor August to get him to sleep through the night and I’m happy to report that things are looking UP!! Granted, we’ve re-arranged just about everyone in the whole house to a different sleeping spot (temporarily) but you gotta do whatcha gotta do, right?
Two weeks before I got really serious about making him sleep through the night, I was allowing him to wake up between 4-6am for a bottle and at that point, he’d end up doing one of two things; he’d sleep until 6:30, or if I was REALLY lucky, he’d sleep until 8:00!!
