I rushed Nora to the changing table, took off her horribly soiled diaper (that yes, had some blood in it), wiped down my arm and her body as best I could with baby wipes, gave her a bath, then went back to the kitchen and cleaned the floor. Breastfeeding Baby
I’ve been thinking lately about how long moms should breastfeed and wanted to know your opinion. My friend Sarah’s daughter, Hannah, has just turned one year old and according to Sarah it’s time for Hannah to be weaned.
Why has this got me thinking, you ask? Hannah loves to breastfeed. She prefers it to eating and Sarah is having a hard time finding a milk replacement that Hannah will drink.
Breast milk obviously provides a lot of nutrients and fats Hannah needs. Hannah hates whole milk and doesn’t seem too excited about soy milk. Sarah is going to try 2% milk next, but what if that doesn’t work?
