Ashley Mozingo

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley, and I am a stay at home mom to two girls, Paislee, 3 and Keely, 1. My husband is in the Coast Guard, and is currently stationed at a Coast Guard unit on Camp Lejune. We have been married for five years now and have spent two of those years in Alaska, where Paislee was born, and two in Maine, where we had Keely. We were lucky to get stationed here in 2012, and call North Carolina "home". We were both born and raised in different cities in eastern North Carolina, and we are super excited to get to spend some time here with our girls and introduce them to some of our favorite places that we had as children. Before I met my husband, I attended East Carolina University, where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Communications. I have a love for writing, and a huge passion for being a mom, so I am thrilled to have the opportunity to write about my experiences and exciting moments of this rocky ride that we all call 'Motherhood'.

Hello! My name is Ashley Hayes. I grew up in a small town in Southwest Michigan. After high school, I attended Central Michigan University, where I met my husband. About a year after we met, he headed off to start his career in the Marine Corps and stayed in Michigan to finish my degree and begin my career. After three years of a long distance relationship, we got married. In 2008, the Marine Corps moved us to Jacksonville, NC, a place we now call home. When we first arrived, I volunteered for many organizations to keep myself busy. I have a type A personally and will drive myself crazy sitting at home. In May 2010, I began working for Onslow Memorial Hospital, which has given me some great opportunities that I will always treasure. The winter after I started my new career at OMH, we found out that we were expecting. It was very exciting news, but this news also added additional stress to my life. It didn’t take long, before these life changing choices had to be made. On July 15, 2011 we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, whom we named Carson. The love that I have for Carson is something that cannot be explained until you become a mother. He brings joy to us every day. These past four years, have been an adventure. Moving to a new place, deployments, a full time job, and a new baby have kept me busy. Since we had Carson, I have experienced a roller coaster of emotions from happiness to frustration and everything in between. I look forward to the many exciting years to come as I watch my little one grow and learn! I hope to pass along some great information and resources to all of you Cuddlebug Readers.
