Ashley Mozingo

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley, and I am a stay at home mom to two girls, Paislee, 3 and Keely, 1. My husband is in the Coast Guard, and is currently stationed at a Coast Guard unit on Camp Lejune. We have been married for five years now and have spent two of those years in Alaska, where Paislee was born, and two in Maine, where we had Keely. We were lucky to get stationed here in 2012, and call North Carolina "home". We were both born and raised in different cities in eastern North Carolina, and we are super excited to get to spend some time here with our girls and introduce them to some of our favorite places that we had as children. Before I met my husband, I attended East Carolina University, where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Communications. I have a love for writing, and a huge passion for being a mom, so I am thrilled to have the opportunity to write about my experiences and exciting moments of this rocky ride that we all call 'Motherhood'.

See you later, alligator!

Hi Friends!  It is with sadness that I announce that this is my final blog here with you all at Cuddlebugs!  I first started here in July 2013 and I have shared the first words, steps, and many other sweet memories of my little girl who is now a toddler!  Kayleigh-bug will be 21 months old this week—my how the time has flown!   Although, it took forever to get pregnant this time around, it seems just like yesterday that I found out that I was pregnant.   I have enjoyed sharing the experiences from my crazy little family of four!  I hope that somehow what I have shared has helped someone!

It certainly has been helpful having the support of other moms like you to get me through!  I don’t know what I would have done without you all.  Best of all, I have all of the memories from most of Kayleigh’s first couple of years in writing to share with Kayleigh one day!  I think I may have to keep on writing so that when I am old and gray and have no more “babies” around, I won’t forget the wonderful things that are going on in our lives now.  I have been so blessed beyond measure and I am thankful everyday for my big boy and my baby girl.  I hope to see you all again in the future.  However, all good things must come to an end and this is no exception.  I have loved having you all read each week!  Thanks for sharing in the giggles, tears, smiles, and frustrations.
